Meet Our Girls Directors

Terri Baranski has been around volleyball for over 30 years, including as a player in the UNO program. After graduating from Syracuse, and getting her Master's Degree in Athletic Training at Indiana University in 1992, Terri returned to UNO where she has been coaching and directing ever since. 

"My passion for the game is endless. I am thankful that I can walk into the UNO gym and say, this is where I work, though It's hard for me to call it work. I get so much enjoyment out of watching the players evolve as athletes and people. They start as youngsters and leave as adults, the transformation I see is so rewarding!"   

Playing Experience

SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY (1986-90)

• BIG East Player of the Year (Soph.)
• Regional All-American (Senior)
• Inducted into the 1994 Syracuse University Orange Plus Hall of Fame 

Coaching Experience

UNO VOLLEYBALL CLUBS  (1992 to Present)

• Named by the United States Olympic Committee- Developmental Coach of the Year- 1994
• Have coached all levels thru- out 26 years at UNO
• Qualified numerous teams for USAV Nationals
• Placed 5th USAV Nationals  in Salt Lake City with 15U group 2005.
• High Performance Coach for various years including the the inaugural year hosted at Loyola University.
